LG 3 Door French Door Refrigerator

I am having major problems with my LG 3 door French door refrigerator!
The lights in my LG fridge stay on, even when the fridge doors are closed. And heated up enough to melt the light cover and burn the light bulb socket.
I've also read that a light bulb staying on in a refrigerator can be a significant issue like the type of thing can be a MAJOR FIRE HAZARD!!
When you buy a $2500.00 dollar fridge you should at least a light in it that works, and doesn't cook the food you have in it.
