Overall: The Samsung RS261MDAS refrigerator is the perfect side by side for a family of 4 or more looking for on a budget that still wants to feel like they splurged. Considering all of the features that this fridge comes with, you will feel like you got a deal.

The only thing to be aware of is the mono cooling instead of the dual. This really isn't a huge deal but this fridge is the only one in the Samsung side by side refrigerator line for Samsung USA that has this. Take a look at what this is below to see if this is an issue for you.

Notable Features:

1. Huge Capacity: At 26 cu. ft. even a larger family will find enough room for all of their groceries int the Samsung RS261MDAS refrigerator. Samsung even put in a compact ice maker (that makes the same amount of ice as a regular one) to allow for more storage space in the freezer.

2. Mono Cooling System: This feature has the air circulate through the freezer and the fridge. This should make a difference in the amount of energy it uses though there may be a slight bit more frost in your freezer and the lack of humidity is important to keep your veggies fresh.

3. Extra Quick Cooling:This fridge as well as many other Samsung refrigerators comes with an ultra fast cooling/freezing areas in both the fridge and freezer

4. Huge Storage Capacity: While many people love the idea of a counter depth refrigerator, the storage can be limiting. This refrigerator may not be counter depth but it certainly makes up for that with the huge amount of storage it offers.

Colors: This review is of the real Stainless Steel refrigerator but it also comes in Black Pearl, White Pearl and Stainless Platinum.

Efficiency: Is Energy Star rated
