LG, Bottom Freezer, LDC22720ST

Bought an LG Bottom freezer refrigerator from a well known explanation point department store. And purchased the 10 year warranty for major components.


Approximately after 2-1/2 years the freezer went out a month later the refrigerator went out. after several visits from the service technicians and multiple calls to LG service the unit was deemed non repairable.

This all went on for about 3 months. An appliance such as this that cost $1k+ should last more then 2 years. After all said and done they will only reimburse me about $700.00 for a new refrigerator. This is unacceptable not to mention the run around I went through.

Very poor customer service....Worst experience ever with both... where I purchased it and with LG.

Sorry to hear you had such a poor experience with LG.

We've honestly been pretty lucky with them over the years and found them to be quite responsive to any issues that come up.

We're posting this complaint here in the hopes that someone from LG might actually reach out to you to see if there's some way to resolve your issue even at this late date.

We wish you the best of luck with hour resolution.
