Can you use a refrigerator in an unheated/uncooled ventilated storage building in the Midwest?

Our top freezer Frigidaire is less than 2 yrs old and it won't freeze in the winter and now the refrigerator will only drop down to 50 degrees. We're in a resort area and other people have outdoor refrigerators that work great. What can we do?
