Danby Freezerless (all fridge) 18 cu. ft. Refrigerator (model dff1776w)

My wife and I purchased this Danby Freezerless refrigerator at Notre-Dame Boys store in Sudbury for $677.99 Dec 14th, 2009.
We did not purchase the extended warranty and then we found out there was only one year warranty (it is a shame) since it does not work any more. It used to be five years.
We hired a technician for estimate on repair and found out we need to replace the evaporator and suction line. Cost for parts and labor would amount to $525.00 to repair our 16 month old fridge. It's robbery.
