I do not recommend my GE Profile side-by-side frig. The ice maker and the freezer have been trouble since I bought it.

After much research as to why I've come to find out that the mother boards circuits burn out and cause the temperature to fluctuate.

When the board goes, the refrigerator quits working altogether.

***FYI - Mother board is a specialty item that must be special ordered. Most repair companies do not carry this type of motherboard.

I bought the product at BEST BUY, and I have been without a refrigerator for 17 days and no idea how much longer it will be.

We just had a similar comment on a problematic ice maker for a GE which was a GE Profile Side by Side Refrig (model GSH25SGPCSS).
