Here's my GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator review:

I only had the fridge for four years and have scheduled the 3d service call for the same issue. They never seem to know what it is or fix it.

  • Water leaks around the dispenser unit on the door
  • Temperature is too cold in parts of the fridge and too warm in others
  • Now the water dispenser on the door is not working


We paid a lot of money for this refrigerator and expected a lot more than this.

We will not buy a GE product ever again!

What is with this GE model refrigerator and temperature controls!
One day it is 0 in freezer and 37 in fridge and next day it is 7 (and going up) and 48!
Sick of moving our food in and out to our old Kenmore which is working fabulously.
GE was out and replaced main board 2 years ago and we suspect same problem and part needed this time.
Repairman from Sears coming out tomorrow. Thinking we may just fix this and sell it! Piece of trash. Won't be buying GE anything again. They are expensive and service calls are expensive. Not to mention the water filters we bought from service person have half the stream the other we bought at Home Deport have.

Here's my GE Profile side by side refrigerator review:

I only had the fridge for 3 years and have just scheduled the 2nd service call which is for the same issue.

*Water leaks around the dispenser unit on the door and no longer produces ice cubes or dispenses water.

*Temperature isn't even: It is too cold in parts of the fridge and too warm in others

*Now the in-door water dispenser is not working.

I saw another person posted with the same problem and seems there should a recall for a part but when I called in they wanted me to go online to see if there were any recalls.

I have received very little help from GE for the problems I have with my GE Profile side by side refrigerator.
