GE Profile Side by Side Refrigerator Review

Here's my GE Profile side by side refrigerator review:
I paid over $2000.00 for a 2003 GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator that has been
recently deemed as unrepairable.
After having to pay for a service call, they found that the motherboard (this is the inside brain or computer of a refrigerator) and the compressor (this is what makes the cool air) are both gone!!
How is it even possible that a two-person family of adults wears out a fridge in less than ten years? When you spend that kind of money (10 years ago!!), you expect it to last a minimum of 15 or until you can't stand the sight of it anymore.
No fridge should wear out that fast.
No more GE appliances for me. Instead, I'm going to try Samsung, LG, or Whirlpool!!
