Here's my Kenmore Elite Trio french door refrigerator review:


I have just purchased my Kenmore Elite Trio fridge, and realized it has been discontinued. So I went hunting for reviews after the fact, just to be sure I'd made a good decision.

I've come across several comments including some noting potential fire hazard, which had me in a panic. I did a great deal more research and found more than a few with raving reviews, and now I feel like I've made a good choice.

 Bad fridge BAD service

I had my fridge for two months when it started intermittently making loud buzzing noise(so loud it would wake me up). Very rude customer service person came looked at the fridge and told me to make the noise it made and then he left. Called customer service again rude. 7 days later a person came who ran some test and ordered parts. 7 days later a tech came and put on the parts, then the fridge didn't work at all.3 days later a tech came and ordered more parts and I am still waiting for my very expensive fridge to be fixed. Meanwhile me and my 79 year old husband with severe diabetes I have no fridge. They don't know what the words customer service means. Still do not have any idea when someone is going to come and "fix" it. I also stupidly bought the 5 year extra warranty.
