As soon as the first year's on my Kenmore side by side refrigerator's warranty ran out, this unit broke down at Christmas.

The call center said they would send someone the next day if I bought a new warranty package, which I did. We waited all day, then called Sears and they lied and said they did not schedule it for that day - they showed up TWO WEEKS LATER.

Now, this unit is only 6 years old and both doors are rotting, rusting, and peeling. I have been a customer of Sears for 30 years, buying all our appliances without a second thought.

After speaking to another call center who are incredibly sympathetic in speech, refused to replace the doors at their costs. I will never purchase another appliance from sears - they are cheaply made and the service is terrible.

I have heard other nightmare stories of friends and relatives with the same dissatisfaction. So sad that this had become such a poorly run company.
