Finally a positive refrigerator review!! I've owned this Kenmore top freezer refrigerator since 1996. It is a standard 21 cu. ft. top-freezer unit and I have had zero problems with it... I mean NONE! It is as reliable as death and taxes.


At 14 yrs of age the door is beginning to not close on its own. That's it.

I will be replacing this unit in the next year for something bigger and more efficient. I will probably sell this one as it still has lots of life left!

 You might want to think twice about selling it...

I've been looking for a new fridge all over the place and I have to tell you that it is rare to read a review on a fridge that someone is so happy with.

I am all for having energy efficient appliances but they just don't seem to be lasting as long as the older ones.

So I'd recommend holding on to this "good" one for a bit after buying your new one. You don't need to leave it plugged it, just keep it for a little while to see if you are half as happy with your new one as you are with this one.
