LG Refrigerator Model LFC23760ST

We purchased our LG refrigerator model LFC23760ST just three years ago and already the bottom handle has been broken on one end.
Our warranty states that it extends in the year 2013. Though when we inquired about the company fixing the handle under the warranty, we were told, "Oh, that's cosmetic. It's not covered by the warranty." Absurd! IF the warranty is still covering this fridge shouldn't everything be covered?!?!
As for my refrigerator review of this LG appliance, I will never buy a LG appliance again!
