There is no way to win with our Whirlpool refrigerator.


A new whirlpool fridge always playing up. It's a complete lemon. We've had this fridge replaced under the warranty. Though when they replaced it the warranty didn't restart at a year. Instead all we had was the remainder of our original one.

The real issue is the fact that the new refrigerator has the same problem -- another lemon.

The Whirlpool appliances company doesn't care about the problems we are having because this fridge is no longer under warranty.

How is it even possible to have 2 new fridges in 2 years and both of them were lemons?!?!

My last fridge lasted 35 years. Go figure.

 pc board problem

seen a lot of these fridges many will not work due to faulty suppression capacitor on the main pc board. older model used 2.2uf. however this model will work with a 2.2 uf but the fridge light remains on & the alarm will beep. trying to find out correct value. would like to hear if anyone has more info

We had same problem.This will be our 3rd fridge in 18 months! Getting a new model but will only have 6mnths warranty for it! The amount of food we have wasted is rediculous! Not happy at all!
