Complete List of Sales
Though if you're anything like us, you would love to have a complete list of Home Depot's sales throughout the year to understand better when they are and which ones tend to offer more of a discount.
In that vein, we created the list below to ensure you have all the details you want to get the best deal possible on your new refrigerator (as well as any discounts on buying more than one appliance!)
Labor Day Sale: (September)
This is one sale that most people are aware of. It happens the weekend of Labor Day, usually in the first week of September. What strikes us the most here is that discounts on this Home Depot refrigerator sale can be as high as 40% off (the biggest discounts offered all year)
Here are a few offers from a previous Home Depot Labor Day Sale:
Columbus Day Sale: (October)
Look for this sale to start around the 2nd week in October. In all honesty, unless you need a refrigerator, we recommend skipping this Home Depot refrigerators sale, as this one only offers discounts of up to 20% off.
This sale offers the smallest discounts of the entire year except those offered to veterans in November (though these may be on top of other discounts).
Here are a few items in past Columbus Day Sales:
Veteran's Day Sale: (November)
What is unique about this sale is that it offers discounts and promotions for both active-duty military personnel and veterans.
Each fridge can have a different offer, but usually, we see reductions anywhere from 10-20% off of the complete purchase price.
(If, by chance, you happen to be the spouse or the child of an active duty military personnel, then it should also apply to your purchase.)
To receive these discounts, you must have a military ID, a Veterans affair ID card, or a DD form 214 (release or discharge from active duty form) to prove that you are military.
Black Friday: (November)
Unless you've been living under a rock or in another country, you probably already know about the Black Friday Sales that happen the Friday after Thanksgiving every year.
People looking to buy new appliances (or almost anything) often wait until the Black Friday sales to see if they can save big. And the Black Friday Home Depot refrigerators sale doesn't disappoint!
The savings are up to 35% which is the 2nd highest of the entire year.
Here are a few examples from previous Black Friday Sales
Christmas Sale: (December)
Believe it or not, Home Depot does offer another refrigerator sale right after its Black Friday Sale.
It usually happens around the third week in December and has up to 30% savings.
Here are a few fridges and the savings offered previously:

Here are a few fridges from a past sale:
Memorial Day Sale: (May)
This sale is another big sale. It typically happens at the end of May and coincides with the national holiday.

Other Ways to Save
While Home Depot definitely has a sale (or two!) for every season they also have a few other ways to save extra money on your refrigerator purchase.
Buy More, Save More: (365 days per year)
You've probably heard this slogan in Home Depot's commercials before. Still, you may want to know what it means in regarding buying appliances.
Often brands try to make purchasing more than one appliance worthwhile with rebates and discounts that increase with the number of appliances you buy.
So this slogan says exactly how Home Depot can save you more. You can get a much higher % off when you add this to one of the above mentioned sales.
Here are a few offered at the writing of this article:
Home Depot Financing: (365 Days per Year)
While this isn't technically a sale, we wanted to ensure you knew that if you purchased your fridge during a Home Depot refrigerator sale, there are good reasons to use their credit card/financing.
Not only do they typically offer 12-24 months of interest-free, but usually, you will receive $100 off of the first $1000 spent on it.
If you don't already have a card, you can apply for it in-store or online. Just ensure you are 100% aware of what terms it offers (how long the 0% interest rate is, what it goes to afterward, etc.)
While there are sales all year round, keeping track of when they are is essential to take advantage of considerable savings.
Of course, you can put a reminder in your calendar to check out any sales. However, if you want Home Depot to keep you aware of what's going on, sign up for their newsletter to take advantage of special savings.
