In case you're not sure if it's time to change out your refrigerartor for a new one, here's a few interesting facts we found about how much energy your fridge by be using. If your refrigerator was made before 1993, changing to an Energy Star appliance can decrease your energy consumption by half.

Though the really surprising statistic was about refrigerators built in the 70's, they use close to four times as much energy as one of the new Energy Star refrigerators.
